On Stage

Sunday, July 2nd, 2006

After a relaxing week with nothing to do, the girls jumped back into the swing of things with 2 weeks of drama camp with the Peninsula Youth Theatre. After rehearsals, games and set making, the girls performed their plays. Jackie played in Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz and Jennifer played the Tortoise in Aesop’s fable of How the Tortoise got his shell.

Since both girls performed at the same time in different theaters we had to split up the family. I attended Jackie’s play.

Mike attended Jennifer’s play…and this is what you get when the non-scrapbooker of the family attends your play:

ExtraOrdinary

Sunday, July 2nd, 2006

Due to proximity I attended CKU-A in San Jose, June 22-24. At registration I chose Cathy’s Zielske’s album track. Her track was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it.

To see my project visit the Page about it on this blog. Click on ExtraOrdinary CKU under Scrapbook Pages on the left-hand side menu bar.

I also had several enjoyable classes and a few so-so classes. Everyone I know who attended really enjoyed their album track class. If it were not for the album track, I would have been disappointed, but the album track really made it special.
